In 1997 the objective of the company was to develop and supply National and International markets with branded high quality Meats, including Wagyu and Value Added Meat Products. Niche markets in Japan, Europe, China, Korea, Singapore, and USA were developed. The name of the company was changed in 2000 to AUSSIE WAGYU Pty Ltd to focus its marketing of Wagyu. AUSSIE WAGYU has established a Strategic Alliance (or Direct Access Marketing) between the Australian Wagyu graziers and customers in Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and USA. Aussie Wagyu offers to all customers and producers within the Alliance, complete traceability on each and every primal cut or animal / carcase, its grade or chiller assessment and their yield (s) of saleable meat.
