Akaba Timber Industries Limited is a Korea-Bangladesh joint-venture project, one of the largest in the Asian hemisphere; this has incepted an unremitting challenge to wooden door and furniture manufacturers of South East Asia. We have commenced a splendent revolution in this industry by introducing the most high-tech machineries to get the best quality work in this arena. Presently we have established the biggest line of machineries in the field of producing absolute Solid Wooden Doors, Door Frames, Flash doors, wooden Flooring, Kitchen Cabinet and Architraves in our country. We have our own Saw-Mill where every single wood are sawn in perfect measurement and manner. Thus the measurement of doors thickness and size remains accurate and perfect. Timber Top Marketing Sdn. To set our product in the top of the line in this world we have introduced the USA Kiln Dry Technology to season our timber and ensure our covenant of durability. Besides that to defend the timber from termites and any other insects, we have installed a Chemical Treatment Plant followed by a United Kingdom Technology to treatment the timber. After the procedure of the wood treatment plant the timbers will not be affected by insects or any bacterial attacks within 100 years Insha-Allah. Dr. Ali Mahbub Kuraishi (PHD in Forestry from University of Toronto) is in charge as our head consultant. The Chairman of Architecture Department of Stamford University Bangladesh, Prof. Ali Naqi is the head adviser of interior designing of our Design House. So there is the international standard of quality, structure and the touch of elegance and modern design in every aspect of all our products. In the entire field of maintaining the caliber of timber treatment and seasoning our specialist Dr. Md. Younus-Uzzaman (M. Sc. In App. Chemical, M. Sc. & DIC in Timber Technology, London, PHD in Pre. Tech. ) is assigned with his supreme experience and ability. Akaba Timber has special wood collecting teams both local and international, who are always ready and active to seek out and collect the proper wood for the doors and furniture. We, ourselves are also importing the best appropriate woods from Malaysia, Indonesia, Germany, Burma, New Zealand, Canada and Africa.
