The pumps manufactured are served for the following sectors: Navy, Coast Guards, various Shipyards and Ship repairs. Water Supply, Sewage & Drainage Schemes, Prawn Culture, Dewatering, Bridge and Construction Sites, Effluent Treatment Plant, car Washing. Agriculture, Domestic Water Supply, Water Supply to high rise building, Hot Water Service, Boiler Feed Applications, Fire Fighting, Fuel Oil Transfer, Refrigeration, Pressure Boosting, Sprinkler Irrigation, etc. Core Industries like Power Generation, Mining, Petrochemicals & Chemicals, Steel, Cement, Paper, Sugar, Fertilizer and other areas. Household Sector. VISION: The central strategic focus is to grow the top-line at least by seventy-five percent coupled with a change in the segmental mix of products. The current thrust is to derisk the business mix with an accentuated thrust on new product roll-outs coupled with a rejigging of the existing available resources to maximize efficiency. In the coming years along with core manufacturing trading of international brands would be a core part of our strategic agenda. MANAGEMENT: B. E. Pumps is a Private Limited Company managed by the Board of Directors supported by professional managers and experienced advisors. FACILITIES RESOURCES: (a) Financial Resources The Company has a strong balance sheet with a healthy debt equity ratio and is primarily self-funding with additional support from the best of PSU & Foreign Banks. The Company has plans in the future to enter into co-ventures and public issues. (b) Human Resources The average age of the employees has considerably reduced in the last three years. Management - labour relation is cordial and the Company has no track records of recent strikes and lock-outs. (c) Physical Resources B. E. Pumps has three well-equipped factories at three different locations in India. The first one was set up at Taratala in West Bengal in the year 1963 with the collaboration of M/s. Siemens & Hinsch, West Germany, which manufactures mainly Navy and Marine pumps. There is a modern test bed set up in this Taratala Factory for testing pumps. The technical collaboration with SIHI expired in the year 1966 and in the year 1969 a second factory was set up at Modern Industrial Estate, Bahadurgarh, in Haryana, which manufactures mainly domestic and low head pumps. The third factory was set up in the year 1986 at Autonagar, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, which manufactures mainly the industrial and high head pumps. (d) Intellectual Resources In our Design and Development Section we design various pumps for industrial, marine & naval applications. We have experienced design engineers and draftsmen to develop new models. We have also computerised design and drafting facilities (AUTOCAD 2000). PRODUCTS OFFERING: B. E. Manufactures wide range of centrifugal pumps for Domestic Application, Water Supply to highrise buildings, Hot Water Service, Booster Service, Boiler Feed Applications, Fire Fighting, LPG and Fuel Oil Transfer, Sprinkler Systems, various Industrial Applications, Marine/Naval Applications and many other uses. It has an inhouse design & development set up and a modern test bed. The manufacturing facilities and quality assurance systems are approved by Director General of Quality Assurance, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. B. E.
