Founded in 1987, Beijing Qumei Furniture Group Corp., Ltd. has become one of the few largest well established furniture enterprises in China and has own design, manufacture and sale abilities. Till now, Qumei has hired over 3000 employees, and had a total registered capital of over 20 million dollars. Such world-famous companies as German Schattdeco, NOBEL, PTP and Jilin Forest Industrial Group are all our partners. Qumei is the largest enterprise of the ply-wood bending and solid wood bending furniture in China. We started to produce bent wood furniture in 1994. We own production lines in Beijing. There are four factories which occupy over 233,000 square meters under our company. The biggest one is located in Shunyi District, covers about 150,000 square meters and has over 1000 workers there. Our new factory started running and mainly producing solid wood furniture in December, 2004. Qumei has adopted modern management system and the most advanced ERP management system. Thanks to the perfect management system, the resources can be allocated more efficiently and properly, and the business can be operated with high efficiency. With the best-equipped bentwood research center and finished product quality control center among the fellow traders, Qumei has maintained high level in environmental protection, quality and bentwood processing capability. Qumei has several national rewarded honors, such as China Top Brand, the Chinese Famous Trademark and China Environmental Label Product. Qumei is among the few that have the three honors mentioned-above at the same time. Qumei is the first furniture company in China that has cooperated with foreign designers. Since 1998, Qumei has, one by one, established cooperative relationship with designers worldwide. The designers include Hans Sandgren Jakobsen, Henrik B. Soerensen and Pelican Design from Denmark, PetP Design from France, and Richard Mishaan from America. Till now, more than 30 foreign designers from Qumei's International Furniture Design Center have designed excellent masterpieces of 13 series, varying in price and style. Qumei has over 500 retailing stores all over the large cities in China selling exclusive products. Our products are not only sold in domestic market but also exported in large quantities to the USA, Japan and European countries.
