Our holding company based outside zurich, Switzerland is looking to expand its product range for its marketing/sales company in Sweden, norber consulting AB, Stockholm. We are looking for manufacturers of medical and surgical disposable products as well as other medical and hospital products. We are today representing Asian companies in the scandinavian market and we are looking for supplementary product ranges of high quality, competitive pricing, and punctual deliveries. The health sector in Sweden is to 90% governed by the state and the procurements are made by invitation of tenders. The tenders are made official about 6 months in advance to selected companies. The contract period is between 12 -24 months with an option of an additional 12-24 months. These tenders are issued by 15 different local procurement offices. Attached you will find the dates we have been selected to hand in our tenders for different products which will find on the attached lists. The tenders are a time consuming administrate task including several personal meetings with the designated procurement officer. We estimate it is a good time to enter the market for Asian companies as the products are of high quality and very competitive pricing. The swedish government has squeezed the procurement budgets but the quantities of products have increased. This has caused the larger companies with their high fix costs some problems with their high pricing strategy and therefore the procurement officers are welcoming new manufacturers. The swedish military procurement office has been appointed to purchase disposable medical products for the military depots within the European community. The procurement will take place sometimes in 2006 and we have already handed in certain products for evaluation. The military depots are mainly there in case of emergency situations, like terrorist attacks etc. If you would have any interest to participate with your products in these tenders and be present in the swedish and scandinavian market then feel free to contact us.
