ABOUT US Bin Beanie-The domestic and commercial Wheelie Bin Vermin Protection Covers Bin Beanie Garbage Solutions is an Australian owned company providing a unique environmentally friendly solution to the domestic, commercial and retail markets. Our Bin Beanie cover originated from many complaints from neighbours and friends who all experienced a common garbage problem, especially during the summer months. The main complaint, flies contaminating garbage and hence unsightly maggots also spiders breeding under the lid and handles of the wheelie bin. The aim was to find a fabric that would stretch over and around the sides of the bin but would give easy access to the bin without having to take off the Bin Beanie to deposit garbage. The garbage is easily deposited by lifting one corner of the Bin Beanie together with the garbage lid and placing rubbish in bin then close lid and pull Bin Beanie back into place. The fabric had to be porous to allow for air flow and drainage but had to be tight enough to stop access to the bin by flies, maggots, spiders, cockroaches and other insects from contaminating the garbage waste. If the wheelie bin is knocked over by wind, etc. , the garbage remains in tact as the Bin Beanie prevents the lid from opening. After months of research and trials we have produced a Bin Beanie cover for use on 240Lt and 120Lt wheelie bins commonly used throughout Australia.
