CSR Ziyang Locomotive Co., Ltd. China (Mainland)

CSR Ziyang Locomotive Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter called CSR Ziyang for short) was funded in 1966, subordinating to China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corporation Limited, and is a unique locomotive manufacturing enterprise in Chinese West Regions, established and cultivated by the Ministry of Railways. CSR Ziyang is one of the important enterprises manufacturing eight kinds of heavy equipments in Sichuan Province, also one of cultivated large enterprises in Sichuan Province, so that CSR Ziyang plays a very important role of independent innovation of heavy equipment and development of the West Regions in China. The total number of each type of locomotives manufactured by CSR Ziyang is at the second place in China. CSR Ziyang has exported locomotives to about 16 countries in Asia, Africa and America, and we are the largest locomotive supplier for Turkmenistan and Vietnam. The engines manufactured by CSR Ziyang have been applied in the locomotive, marine and power station areas, so CSR Ziyang is also the famous supplier for the complete equipment of engineering marines and high-power gas engines. The market shares of crankshafts for medium-speed engines in China, which are manufactured by CSR Ziyang, are about 70%, and the crankshafts also have been exported to Germany, Japan, the United States, Korea, India and Pakistan, of which CSR Ziyang is the largest crankshaft supplier for customers in India. CSR Ziyang has more than 2,400 units of different kinds of mechanic equipment in total, including advanced precision equipment and inspection or testing instruments. CSR Ziyang has established four industries: representatives of six-axle electric locomotive and exported diesel locomotive for locomotive industry; representatives of gas engine and marine diesel engines for engine industry; representatives of full face tunnel boring machines and tunnel construction machinery for heavy equipment industry; representatives of medium-speed engine full-fiber forged steel crankshafts and large forgings & castings for part and component industry, by means of optimized integration of high-quality sources of CSR Ziyang. CSR Ziyang has passed through the certification of "Chinese National Laboratory", so we are also the National First-Class Measurement Company. CSR Ziyang also has passed through the certifications of ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System, ISO14000 Environmental Quality Management System and OHSMS18000 Health & Safety Management System. CSR Ziyang has established the National Class Post-Doctoral Research Center, and energetically implements the technology innovation strategy of "Introduction of foreign technology and combination of domestic enterprises"; therefore, CSR Ziyang has one after another introduced the manufacturing technologies of locomotive radial bogie from American EMD company, 3600 series of engines from American Caterpillar Company, 27/38 & 32/40 marine engines from Germany MAN Company and 30G gas engines from Japanese MHI Company, so that the competition capacity of CSR Ziyang has been continuously improved. CSR Ziyang have widely cooperated with colleges and Research Institutes, such as the Southwest Jiaotong University, so that we make great efforts to become the high-standard R&D Manufacturing Center for diesel and electric locomotives, medium-speed engine block and key components (such as crankshaft) and full face tunnel boring machines in Chinese West Regions.
