Chengdu Indigo power sources Co., Ltd. was established in 2000, and the registered capital is 3 million Yuan. We are a high-tech water-soluble adhesive manufacturer which is established cooperatively by AAC Acoustic Technologies Holdings Inc. (AAC) and Chengdu Organic Chemicals Company Ltd. (COCC) of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Today we supply LA series water-soluble adhesives (patent No. ZL01108511.8) for electrode materials and CLA series water-soluble conductive adhesives for anode materials. LA series water-soluble adhesives and CLA series water-soluble conductive adhesives exhibit enhanced electrochemical stability and the adhesives are used to make electrodes of lithium ion batteries. These new adhesives are environment friendly. It can be used in the preparation of electrodes and the active material includes LiCoO2, LiMn2O4, LiFePO4, and so on. The electrodes using the new adhesive are much more flexible, and by using this adhesive, the amount of adhesive was reduced while still maintaining better mechanical properties of the electrodes. Thus, the weight of a battery can be reduced, as compared with the case where PVDF adhesive is used. The electrochemical performance shows lower irreversible capacity losses and longer cycle life.
