delauney designs was created as a "think tank" for creating and developing new domestic recycling initiatives, making recycling easy and efficient for householders who must take an active role in collecting and storing recyclable waste such as plasic bottles, steel food cans and aluminium drinks cans in order for councils to reach stringent recycling targets.
With this in mind, my partner and I designed and created a single impression tool which produces the WasteMate Crusher. The product is made from plastic injected polypropylene and is manufactured at Dearing Plastics Ltd in Hull.
The WasteMate Crusher is the only domestic crusher that is made from plastic, which can be recycled after use, that will reduce waste steel food cans, plastic bottles and aluminium drinks cans by 60% .
