Edwards Waste Paper was founded in 1966 by Ray Edwards. Ray Edwards was a man with a van collecting Waste Cardboard from supermarkets and packaging companies. The business grew over the years to processing and baling cardboard in his own yard also selling 2nd hand cartons to removal and packaging companies. It started with hand presses and progressed into 2005 to fully automated press baling all types of material. Forty years ago Edwards Waste Paper collected waste cardboard and produced twenty tonne per week. Today with collections and deliveries approximately one thousand tonne of paper and cardboard is processed and handled weekly. We were based in Bow, East London for twenty years but moved to Barking in 2004, which makes us easily accessible from the A13, A406 and the M25. We are the closest MRF to Central London. The family run business offers customer service that differs little from that it offered over forty years ago. Technological advances mean that nowadays our service is far more efficient and increasingly environmentally friendly.
