FRITEX Stock Co. Plant of friction and heat-resistant materials is one of the leading, fast-developing producers of composite polymer materials and articles. The plant was set up in 1932 as per a project of American company. It became the first specialized plant in our country and one of the biggest plants of sealing heat resistant and friction materials and articles in Europe. In 1992 the plant became a stock company and in 2003 its reconstruction was completed. Today FRITEX is the first-rate producer of sealing materials and articles (cylinder head gaskets, manifold gaskets and others) , clutch facings, brake linings and pads. These articles are produced for passenger cars, trucks, buses, tractors and other agricultural vehicles and also for railway wagons and for metro of Russia. In May, 2005 FRITEX Stock Co.-the first plant in Russia and CIS-set up a new production of multylayer metal gaskets using up-to-date equipment and tools of leading German machinery plants. Articles produced at FRITEX are original equipment parts for the biggest automotive and engine plants in Russia and CIS such as AvtoVAZ, GAZ, KamAZ, ZIL, ZMZ, MMZ, MTZ, YaTZ and others. FRITEX Stock Co. has got its own Technical Center with research and development, testing and environmental laboratories.
