Over thirty million cartridges are used annually in Canada, with a high percentage ending up in landfill. Cartridges that are collected by greentec are inspected and qualifyed, and then sold to re-manufacturers who refill them and return them to the market, reducing the number of cartridges that end up in landfill sites. Greentec has collected more than 600 different types of prepared cartridges in stock, for customers to purchase.
