Hikmet Tarim: Hikmet Tarim was established as a farming company in 2005 by Hikmet Dalkilic. Its fields are located at at the very heart of black carrot cultivation zone. Naturally, it is working on black carrot business. Every year we allocate some part of our fields for black carrot cultivation. Amount of this allocation depends on the customers' request. Generally, We produce black carrot between 1500mt and 2000mt per year. But our capacity is 8000mt per years. We don't use this capacity because of marketing risks. We can only use this capacity when we have found contracted customers before seeding season. We also deal with the cultivation of some kinds of plants. Such as wheat, barley, rye, corn, sunflower, beet, tomato, potato, orange carrot, black carrot and etc. . . All of these crops are not cultivated at the same season. We choose some of them for cultivation by considering marketing issues. Our Farms: Our farm fields are located at near Konya Eregli which is a small city at the middle of Turkey. Organic Farming: we hava also produce organic porducts certified by CERES company. But, demonds for organic products are not much Because, It is% 30 expensive than conventional one since its production cost is higher than conventional oneOur Business Model: We sell our products both as fresh and also as processed. We have agreements with some fruit juice concentrate factories. If our customers want concentrated vegatable juice we have our row materials processed by this high quality concentrate factories. Frozen concentrated black carrot juice is our major product.
