Company Steinkopf was founded in 1966 and has been working since then as rebuilder of starters, alternators, starter drives, stators, armatures and solenoids for all known manufacturers of the automotive industry. In 1992 Steinkopf divided into two enterprises: Company Hans Steinkopf Industrievertretung concentrates its activities on new and rebuilt car parts. Company V. Steinkopf Fahrzeugteile trades with used car parts and surplus materials. Since1996 our family enterprise has been located in Northern Germany. Our office and magazine in the small village of Otterndorf near Cuxhaven is easily accessible from Bremen and Hamburg. Over the past ten years we developed worldwide trade with obsolete parts coming from the overstock of known manufacturers of the automotive industry. Six years ago V. Steinkopf specialized in automatic and manual gearboxes. We personally secure the quality before purchasing the used parts. Currently the competent and friendly team of V. Steinkopf consists of twelve employees. More than 80% of our turnover results from export, predominantly in Eastern Europe and in the Middle East.
