Hengyang Valin Steel Tube Co., Ltd. is a large-scale seamless steel tube & pipe manufacturer around the world and the second largest seamless steel tube & pipe manufacturer in China. Our company was founded in 1958. After 50 years' development, we now own total assets of RMB11 billion. In 2008, the output for seamless steel tubes and steel reaches 1.03 million tons and 1.12 million tons respectively, with sales income of RMB8.8 billion and profit of RMB0.41 billion. We always insist on our strategy of "developing the company by relying on science and technology", and import and absorb advanced equipment and key technology in the seamless steel pipe production field. Our whole technical equipment level has reached the world leading level. There are five steel tube production lines named 50 Plant, 89 Plant, 219 Plant, 340 Plant and 720 Plant. There are two tubing & casing processing lines. We also have two round billet production systems including one set of fully horizontal continuous casting line and one set of bow-type continuous casting line, and a 1000m3 blast iron making system. We're capable of annually producing 800,000 tons of iron, 1.3 million tons of steel and 1.5 million tons of pipes. We are now the global seamless steel tube production enterprise with complete production mills, advanced technology and complete product specification. We're able to produce various kinds and sizes of hot-rolled and cold-drawn seamless steel tubes & pipes, with O.D below 720mm. Our pipes have secured such important international certificates as ISO9001, ISO14001 OSHMS, API, PED, TUV, Lloyds, and BV. After the identification from numbers international famous oil companies, like Shell, we enjoy a high reputation in domestic and overseas markets. We have established stable marketing channels in domestic industries of petroleum, petrochemical, automobile, boiler, coal mining, and chemical, and continuously enlarged the market share. Our products have been exported to Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania. We have exported our products to more than sixty countries and regions. Our export volume rate stands in the top position in the seamless steel tube and pipe industry in China. To meet the needs of corporate strategy, we constantly improve information system. We have realized the management integration of cash flow, logistics, and information flow. Our business plans for daily production operation release, cost control, quality management, and technical review can be carried out on the platform linkage of the ERP system. In March 2007, we established the Industry Area which is the only one industry area promoted by our corporation in China. We can provide steel pipe deep processing service, enhancing the added value of steel pipe, expanding the product marketing area. Industry Area is expected to reach RMB5 billion sales income in 2010. We are in the pursuit of "natural and harmonious development of society". We focus on the social impact of production. We make great efforts to deal with the waste. From 2006 to 2008, we invested RMB56.9 million, RMB65.21 million, and RMB155.32 million respectively on environmental protection and safe and healthy systems. We use environmentally friendly and safe facilities to control emissions. "Transformation of the old equipment, and reduce energy consumption pollutants" is our goal.
