CITAB - Ceramica Industrial de Taubate was founded in 1884 in Sao Paulo Greater Area as the first company to produce sanitary ware in Brazil, working with its own trademarks that are ACQUA and HERVY.Our mission is the attainment of excellence through technical advancements combined with social responsibility and respect for the environment. CITAB was pioneer in Brazil in the utilization of technologies aimed at reducing the usage of water in sanitary ware and has been very active in developing new lines that use significantly less water in each flush cycle, as 1.28gpf (4. 8lpf) and 1.2gpf (4.5lpf) . We have HET lines certified by IAPMO/cUPC and CSA, as well as ADA toilet for people with disabilities. Our toilets are eligible for EPA WaterSense for rebate programs in the US and Canada.Committed to environmental concerns, CITAB produces its products in modern, energy efficient kilns: three English Drayton ovens in our 35, 000 sq meter factory, which allows productive capacity of 200, 000 units per month and possibilities to a upgrade to 300,000 units per month.CITAB is a 100% Brazilian capital corporation.
