Inan produces retreads for OTR-tyresin heavy and special applications and beside that offers comprehensive know-how and products for licensees of the inan Precured Retread System. Schelkmann retreads have optimum splice between tread segments and casing due to a specially designed bonding-rubber. The consistant adhesion between the carcass and the new tread is achieved through the implementation of the inan rubber envelope. During the vulcanization process the tread segments and the carcass are under a vacuum. During our vulcanization process the same pressure of 5 bar is applied to the inside and outside walls of the carcass. The casing is neither compressed nor expanded. This greatly increases the life expectancyof the tyre. The unique combination of highest quality rubber, advanced technology and extreme quality controls in the manufacturing process guarantee a longer performance, comparable to that of new tyres. Special rubber compounds are specifically attuned to the various intended uses of the tyres. The current program includes all new-tyre industry modern tread designs, with the Michelin EM tyres being the most prevalent. Treads for all different possible uses are produced. From scrapers to loader and dumpster tyres, deployed in quarries, at the bottom of rock walls, for the transport of natural stones and crushed rock, in roadand railroad construction, as well as for steel mills and in the enterprises recycling slag, glass, synthetic materials, earth and construction materials. The retreading of PU-filled tires is recommended in special cases, for example for tires which are used in recycling-and waste disposal plants. Even under severest restrictions in waste products preparation used filled tires could be retreaded again. Tires with polyurethane could be retreaded several times, in individual cases up to five times. A really economic alternative regarding a filled new tire.
