Jiangsu Paite Scientech Develop Co., Ltd. is a provincial-level private scientific and technological enterprise possessing the right of handling import & export, who engages in the production and manufacturing of complete electric bicycle and its core components & parts and still the R&D and production of solar energy applied products. There are now more than 220 staff in our company, in which, 34 with junior college or higher degree and 14 with medium or senior professional titles. Our company covers a floor space of 138 mu, with a building area of 50000m2; it owns two in-scale industrial bases for complete electric bicycle and its components & parts and solar energy generation applied products respectively; it is also a co-operative enterprise in applied products of Suntech Energy Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. There are more than 100 sets of equipment for various scientific research, detection and manufacturing. The production capacity of complete electric bicycle is 200, 000 unit/year; the production capacity of supporting products for components & parts of electric bicycle is 5,000,000 unit/year; the production capacity of solar energy applied product is 100,000u/a. In 1997, starting from the R&D of key components of electric bicycles, our company applied the core technology of Tsinghua University to the products and achieved success in market. The Hall electronic crank and electronic power turn-off brake handle that were developed earliest at home founded the milestone of the leap of core technology of electric bicycles, which have been equipped with thousands of electric bicycles over the years, thus was famed as 'First Crank in China' by the peers at home. Based on the proven component technology, our company further developed and manufactured the 'Pai Te Development' complete electric bicycle which was delicate, pretty and luxurious; the 'Pai Te Development' electric bicycle produced has become the brand hankered after by the consumers; therefore, our company has become a comprehensive key enterprise in the domestic electric bicycle industry. In recent years, our company extended to the applied products of new energy like solar energy and developed a batch of solar energy applied products that possess proprietary intellectual property rights. Some key technologies with independent intellectual property rights have been applied to electric bicycle products, which opened a new way for characteristic innovation of electric bicycle, and thus became a kind of hot export product with strong competitiveness. Our company has always been focusing on amounting to the field of solar energy and wind energy generation and established specially enterprise standard of Inversion System Controlled by Solar Energy PV Power, which improved and supplemented GB19064-2003 and was reviewed and put on record by the experts organized by Standard Office of Jiangsu Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau. In 2008, 'Wind & Light Energy Power Engineering Technology Research Center' was established. Since then, a professional electron and electricity R&D team on solar energy and wind energy has gone deep into the frontier of the new energy application field. Our company has established the industry-academy alliance technological cooperation relationships with Tsinghua University, Southeast University and Nanjing Institute of Technology, and has developed more than 10 items of proprietary technologies independently or cooperatively. Several of them have been approved as national patents, and additionally, two items have been obtained with National Customs Intellectual Product Protection Certificates. In 2002, our company took the lead in establishing ISO9001-2000 Quality System among our peers and passed the evaluation from the certification authority.
