Jinan Fuqiang Power Co., Ltd. (hereafter JFP) is a Sino-British joint venture company, specializing in engine remanufacture. Our Chinese investor is China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Corp. Ltd., and our foreign investor is R A Overseas Investment Holding Ltd. The investment ratio between China and Britain is 51%:49%. British Sandwell Ltd., British investor's sole subsidiary company, is one of the biggest specialization engine re-manufacturers in the UK supplying all kinds of re-manufactured engines and engine parts to Ford-Land Rover Ltd. The establishment concept of JFP was submitted to the former Ministry of Machine Building on Jan. 4th, 1994 and approved by the former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (present Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China) on Nov. 11th, 1994. Then JFP was founded and registered in Jinan Administration for Industry & Commerce on Jan. 14th, 1995. Our company formally began operation in 1998. Now we are the first genuine automobile engine re-manufacturer in China and has been confirmed to be one of the first model enterprises of China by 6 national ministries and commissions (National Development & Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China, State Environmental Protection Administration of China, the Ministry of Science & Technology of the People's Republic of China, Ministry of Finance People's Republic of China, Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, and National Bureau of Statistics of China). JFP, with our machines imported from Europe and the United States, has set up technical, production, supply and marketing systems based on European standard. We are an automobile engine re-manufacturer with high starting point, specialized management, environmental protection concept, and internationally recognized high standard. We have been certified by ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System and meanwhile is implementing TS16949 Quality Management System. Our re-manufactured products are strictly according to re-manufacturing technology and strict standard of inspection and test, which guarantees our re-manufactured products are as good as new ones. Now, JFP is the only Asian member of Production Engine Remanufacture Association (PERA), and also the R&D base of China Remanufacture Technology-Scientific Research & Teaching Practice Bases of National Defence and Science and Technology Key Laboratories of Equipment Remanufacture. With constant development and expansion of several years, now we have developed more than twenty brands of over ten series of remanufactured engines that can be used in vehicles, including Steyr, Cummins, FAW Dalian Diesel 6110, and FAW Chaoyang Diesel 6102. With the market enlargement, in 2005 JFP invested RMB150,000,000 in expanding production scale in order to adapt to the great development of cycle economy. At the end of 2005, JFP happily moved to the new address where the new production base is located in CNHTC Industrial Zone, Zhangqiu City, with beautiful scenery & convenient transportation, a new city east to Jinan. In this new production base, there are new production lines that can manufacture 5,000 sets of engine components and parts, and the production capacity of remanufactured engines reaches 50,000 sets per year. Now there are more than 800 employees in JFP. We own a young management team which is creative, united and aggressive. Our senior administrative staff members constantly accept new concept and management training and have become management experts in the remanufacture industry in China. Our intermediate administrators received management training in ISTE in Britain and accept relevant training constantly have also become JFP's core for further development. We boast a troop of workers with hard work and skilled operation. Each of our workers accepts technical training and periodical examination.
