As the world-famed ceramic capital, Jingdezhen City has a long history of ceramic making and a rich cultural heritage. In accordance with the historical records, "Changnan" (The name of the city was called in ancient times, and in Chinese it sounds like China, and that's what the word China comes from) began to make pottery in Han Dynasty. It is evident that pottery was first made in Jingdezhen in Han Dynasty. Thus, we can say that China is well known for porcelain, and the famous porcelains are made in this city---Jingdezhen. With the unique Kaolin Clay originated in this place, the china produced in Jingdezhen in one incidence is described to be "as white as jade, as thin as paper, as bright as a mirror." The products are beautifully designed and richly decorated with the most traditional designs. Jingdezhen Zhang's Artistic China Workshop, located in Jingdezhen City, relies on the city's one-thousand-year experience of handmade porcelain making, the unique Kaolin clay, and the foremost porcelain technique & design support from the Ceramic Institutes Of Jingdezhen. We have been devoted to producing pure handmade artistic tiles by applying the traditional technology in Jingdezhen since 2004. Fired at very high temperature, the tiles reach vitreous high level. Therefore, the tiles possess high intensity and extremely low water absorption. We are presently obtaining 8 series of tiles, which include more than 200 items. Products are now exported mainly to the USA and the Mid Eastern countries, and we are supplying to some world famous projects, such as Pearl and Qatar.
