Compression / Punch & Die Tooling For over 15 years our formula for success has started with the use of the highest quality tool steel from the branded & finest suppliers. Then incorporates skilled tool and tablet design engineering, the very latest in computerized machine tools, expert craftsmanship and a level of quality control that is unprecedented in the industry. Our experience through the years has shown us that quality tablet compression tooling can't be produced without the use of quality raw materials, manufactured to strict specifications as per customer requirement. We exclusively use electric furnace-produced steel tolerances for uniformity and cleanliness. All pharmaceutical tooling is formed from high-nickel, high-chrome shock steel that must meet Jyoti strict requirements before we will consider it. Keeping abreast of today's latest equipment, techniques and processes is no easy task. Not only do we invest continuously in new technology employees are constantly undergoing training and honing of their skills. We take genuine pride in the work we do and the equipment we use. Matching the Caliber operator with the finest machinery makes for an unbeatable combination. And the Production R& D Department redesigns and modifies machinery to further improve and speed production. To complete the loop, The Jyoti Companies depends upon its meticulous in-process and final inspections to confirm the quality of our compression tooling. Inspectors utilize the latest in QC technology and processes including laser measuring equipment accurate to + / -. 001mm and electronic height, OD and concentricity gauges. Conventional equipment such as micrometers, pin gauges, optical comparators, section microscopes and contour trackers are also to be found in the QC arsenal. Ultimately, all compression tooling shipped will meet or exceed the customers' specifications as well as our own very stringent standards. JYOTI Dies & punches were developed to enable the customer to hold in their hands amazingly realistic prototypes of the new tablet products. The prototype tablets are constructed from a proprietary space age material before punches and dies are manufactured. This simulated product allows shape, color, size and lettering (including logos) to be previewed quickly and inexpensively. Easy, Efficient, Economical Most recently introduced Triple-E tooling-"Easy, Efficient, Economical"-which is so precise that it is totally interchangeable, making setup and changeover faster, easier and virtually error-proof. During setup, a single tool called a custom alignment gauge is used to set all of the dies in the die table quickly and squarely. This procedure results in a perfect fit between the die and the upper punch so that all upper punches can be randomly installed. Numbering of tool stations is no longer necessary.
