KDP Assembly, s.r.o. was founded in 2007 by dividing KABELOVNA Decin - Podmokly (found in 1909) into two enterprises according to product type. The first business (Kabelovna Decin Podmokly, s.r.o.) manufactures metallic and optical fibre cables. The second (KDP Assembly) manufactures cable connections (cables or wire harnesses provided with connectors) used mainly (not only) in telecommunication and medical technology. KDP Assembly is a traditional floor heating mat manufacturer. This section deals with the history of KABELOVNA Decin - Podmokly, which is in fact, our history as well and KDP Assembly continues to build on this tradition.5.1.2008, KDP Assembly became part of Wilms Gruppe, where it has a major presence. The Group joins other cable works from Germany and Austria (Bayka, Klasing, Monette, XBK, Sudkabel, Voka, etc), providing a stable background to the company in the purchase of crucial material for the manufacture of cable and conductor connections.
