Kuwapani tea plantation (p) ltd has started production in 2005 with the aim of producing premium quality orthodox teas. This companys manufacturing unit is situated at 6, 000 ft in dhankuta district in the eastern hills of Nepal. Our aim is to concentrate more on quality than on quantity. To attain this we have a small production unit and all aspects of production from plucking to made tea are closely monitored by highly experienced manager.
Proper plucking methods are a very important process of the production. Small shoots comprising of two leaves and a bud are meticulously plucked by skilled hands. The further process of withering, rolling, fermentation, drying, sorting, and packing are done carefully so that the inherent quality is not lost.
With the advantage of unique climate, diverse agro-climatic conditions, eco friendly cultivation methods and use of organic method, Nepal is producing premium quality teas. Selective china clones brought in from darjeeling, having very similar climatic conditions, nepal's tea have the same taste profile and aroma that you get from true darjeeling tea. The unique climate consists of crystal cool, cool breeze from the himalayan mountain range, glorious sunshine, breathtaking mist and vigorous monsoon rains. All the factors come together to create premium high grown himalayan orthodox black teas full of delectable muscatel flavor with rich aroma, bright infusion and stylish appearance.
