Later, with the passing of time, Anup Dutta, his son with his teammates started designing hand loom saris with cotton and silk thread. Mr. Anup Dutta had the inspiration from his father about maintenance of quality. He also realized that in the competitive market, the price played key role. Least profit and better customer satisfaction were his vows. With the change in socio-economic feature of our community, he realized the importance of fashion and started discovering unique designs on the cotton and silk saris. Later, his able son, Subhrajit realized the impact of globalization. The Sari and dress material, they started manufacturing bagged global fame to them. Hence fashion was another connotation added to the policy of the group. Ruplekha's Saris ranging from Cotton based printed and embroidered saris and silk based Banarasis, Naksi border became popular in the Bengali community. Some of the Ruplekha's specialties are the Jamdanis and Tangail Saris with Nakshi and Zari border. Men's wear did not go out of sight of Ruplekha's management. Fashionable hand stitched and embroidered Kurta and Dhakka border Dhutis started being manufactured. Today a team more than 150 weavers are engaged in Santipur to work for the designs and fashions of Ruplekha. All the products Ruplekha sell are manufactured by them and hence the group is devoted to manufacture and sell and not trade. RUPLEKHA is a well known name in Bengal.
