It was founded in 1994 in kwen, a thriving agricultural community situated in the heart of Bamenda, on the North-Western region of Cameroon.In 1996, NGBC initiated its hybrid Arabica and Robusta cooffee breeding programme and began developing its own improved cultivars, specifically adapted to meet the needs of coffee farmers in Cameroon.
