NINTH Element Company Ltd. is the authorized representative of OJSC Halogen and KCKK Polymer Plant Ltd. , incorporated into a holding company which is the biggest producer of PTFE resins, fluoroelastomers, melt-processible fluoropolymers, semi-finished and finished products of fluoropolymers, varnished cloths, foil-coated insulators and sealants. Fluorine-containing products have a number of extraordinary properties including chemical inertness, nonwetting, low coefficient of friction and low dielectric constant. Fluoropolymers are nontoxic, nonstick, highly fire and thermal-resistant plastics. PTFE (fluoroplast-4) can be processed into rods and tubes (bushes) by RAM extrusion; into rods, tubes, plates and sheets by compression and hydrostatic molding with the following heat treatment and machining. Teflon is a foreign analog of fluoroplast-4 (F-4) . Teflon and fluoroplast articles and coatings are used in many industries including chemical and petrochemical industry, gas-processing, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, medicine, pharmaceutics, food industry, and others.
