Nilma Lithuania

JSC "Nilma" is one of the greatest wood processing companies in the Baltic region. Our company works since 1997. JSC "Nilma" has three wood processing plants - two in Lithuania and one in Kaliningrad, Russia. Two hundred qualified specialists work in our company.Our company mainly specializes on industrially painted outside finishing claddings and also in high quality glued-wood beams (window scantlings) for the production of windows and doors. "Nilma" produces Siberian larch terrace decking, floor planks, glued constructional wood, furniture parts, Siberian larch tiles for roofs (Holzschindeln) and other planed and glued details.The raw wood used is pine, spruce and Siberian larch.JSC "Nilma" plants are equipped with the machines from the Italian manufactures "Makor" and German "Weinig Gruppe", therefore, the efficiency is 3000 m3 of the production per month.Production of UAB "Nilma" was certified in Lithuanian Certification Center of Building Products in 2000.Production of the company is periodically tested in independent laboratories.JSC "Nilma" is the member of Lithuanian Wood Industry Enterprise Association "Lietuvos mediena" and the member of Association of Windows and Doors Producers of Lithuania.In 2009 management systems were re-certificated and certificates ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 were renewed untill 2012.In April 2009 "Nilma" was awarded with FSC Chain of Production Certificate (CoC). It ensures that certified timber in the production sequence at the end can be traced to the forest, which has been cut. CoC certification was carried out by the Forest Stewardship Council (Forest Stewardship Council) accredited representative SmartWood Program NEPCon. Certified in the timber industry JSC "Nilma" supports the management of the forest, which retains important forest wildlife, and ensure safe, healthy and fair conditions for people working in the woods.Company gives attention to modernization of equipment, optimization of production process, improvement of output quality and environment protection.Company exports production to many European Union countries.
