Company History1896-1942As early as in 1896, the main manufacturing plants, which replaced the original manufacturing shop of the founder of the factory of Leopold Kaspar founded in 1894, were established in Senice na Hane-in the locality of the seat of the current joint-stock company. The main manufacturing programme of those days consisted in the production of mill and agricultural machinery, however, the production was subdued by the world economy crisis at the beginning of thirties of the last century. 1942-1990In the year 1942, Josef Foglar bought the complete production complex and after the renovation of the buildings he launched the production of truck trailers, by which he established the traditional production that has been developed to the present days. In the year 1948, the state administration of the company was introduced and afterwards the company was incorporated into the national enterprise KAROSA Vysoke Myto. At that time, substantial reconstruction and renovation of the manufacturing plant was performed. The building development proceeded also after the incorporation into the national enterprise Brandyske strojirny a slevarny (BSS) . The production capacity was gradually increased to 10 000 units of tractor trailers per year. After the extension of the main manufacturing premises by the construction of the plant in Pisecna near Jesenik in 1968, the part of the production of the agricultural trailers was transferred to the plant. 1990-1996Pursuant to the delimitation of BSS performed in 1990, both the production units were detached from the national enterprise Brandyske strojirny a slevarny and afterwards on 1. 7. 1990 the company PANAV Senice na Hane was founded. On 29. 3. 1991, the joint-stock company PANAV was established, and on the basis of the delimitation agreement it was divided in two separate subjects JaS Jesenicka strojirna a. s. Pisecna u Jeseniku and PANAV, a. s. Senice na Hane with the effect from 25. 2. 1993. The subject has been privatised in the year 1994. 1996-present daysIn the course of years 1996-97, the object was renovated and the entrance hall has been transferred to the place of the original freight traffic gate lodge. In the year 1999, the partnership company PANAV Slovakia s. r. o. with the registered office in Kosice, Slovakia, has been established. The company has the sales offices in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, Italy, Denmark, Senegal and Slovenia. The company has established the business contacts also in Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and New ZealandCurrently, the company has approximately 350 employees and cooperators.
