PRONATEC - the Organic Pioneer QUALITY AND FAIR TRADE The sale of exquisitely tasting raw materials and the consistent focus on healthy food and our pioneering spirit continue to be our most important driving forces to this day. Fair treatment of customers, producers, business partners, the community and the environment form the backbone for being able to offer the best organic raw materials. Applying the results shows: hundreds of processing plants and tens of thousands of consumers in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia benefit daily from our 30 years of experience with organic food. OUR PROJECTS As a matter of principle, PRONATEC does not purchase raw materials from anonymous traders or markets, but rather as directly as possible from farmers. In the areas of sugar and cocoa, PRONATEC has gone one step further and has made a name for itself with its own projects. PRONATEC employs its own agronomists, engineers and administrators in Latin America. PRONATEC customers benefit from its strong presence in the growing areas in several ways: - Product quality can be directly monitored in all processing steps, storage and transport. - Even unusual customer requests can be met. - Traceability is guaranteed at all times. - PRONATEC has a direct link to the source and can convey important information on logistics, quality assurance and organic or Fair Trade inspections quickly and without red tape. RAW MATERIALS Whether it be individual pallets or full trucks, whether it be the USA, Switzerland or Taiwan: in the area of organic food, PRONATEC offers a unique price/performance ratio. We do not just see ourselves as being traders, but are in close contact with our suppliers. Since we have our own agronomists and engineers in the Dominican Republic and in Paraguay, we are able to vouch for a consistently high quality and 100 percent traceability. The daily contact with the producers is highly appreciated by the quality assurance departments and organic certification entities of our customers, because PRONATEC processes associated requests quickly and without red tape. Possible certificates are EU 2092/91, NOP, Bio Suisse, Fair Trade (FLO), JAS, Demeter, and Kosher. ECOLOGY AND SOLIDARITY PRONATEC AG strives for fair trade with its suppliers all over the world. The following objectives are at the forefront of these long-term partnerships: - PRONATEC guarantees that it will take all of the produced crops. - PRONATEC pays an organic premium of 10 - 25 %. - PRONATEC finances and organizes the organic certification. - PRONATEC pays in advance for the crops. - PRONATEC does not tolerate any child or forced labor. - Women and men receive the same wage for the same work. - PRONATEC organizes organic workshops and assists the farmers in all of their agricultural requirements. - The employees get fair wages and have the right to get health insurance. Because it has its own employees and pays frequent visits to the different sources, PRONATEC can have a direct influence on improving the personal circumstances of the smallholders. The fair prices do not only make a contribution to ensuring their long-term livelihood, but they also enable the raw materials to be produced under environmentally friendly conditions. The Max Havelaar and Transfair symbols of the Fair Trade Labelling Organization (FLO) stand for this fair trade. OUR PRIVATE LABEL PRODUCTS An extensive range of chocolate, cocoa powder CHOCANAT, sugar cubes and sugar sachets by PRONATEC are available as private labels. There is no obligation to buy in bulk, because we offer attractive conditions for small quantities, too. So we can deliver your private label chocolate with a first order of just 1000 bars per flavour.
