An agreement in developing coconut-based products and its derivatives has been conducted by the faculty of mathematics and natural science, gmu (f-mipa ugm) and pt patria wiyata vico yogyakarta. The letter of understanding or memorandum of understanding (mou) was signed by prof. Drs. H. Subanar, phd, dean of the faculty of mathematics and natural science, gmu and patria ragiatno, se, MBA, director of pt patria wiyata vico yogyakarta in gadjah mada university in august 4, 2005. The mou agreed that pt patria wiyata vico will assist in marketing and distribution of the coconut-based products from the research of the faculty and from the cooperation of the supported farmers in galur coconut center, kulon progo regency, yogyakarta.
