Pieter Zaadstra is a multi award winning Australian artist who specialises in portrait commissions, book illustration, animal, landscape and seascapes and many other genres. His drawing and oil painting proficiency stems not only from exceptional talent (winning a national award in at the age of 10 years) , it is combined with more than 3 decades of training and experience. Pieter's versatility has engaged him in projects as diverse as illustrating The Lord of the Rings to books such as Our Australian Kelpie and The Flight of the Black Cockatoo. His list of portrait sitters includes former South Australian governor and nobel laureate Sir Mark Oliphant.
