Presteve Foods Ltd is one of Canada's largest freshwater fish processors with distribution across North America and exports to Europe & Asia.
The Company operates two EU approved processing plants located in Canada's Great Lakes basin and supplies a wide variety of species such as lake smelt, lake whitefish, yellow pickerel, yellow lake perch, lake herring, white bass, white perch and many more.
Fish are caught by day boats and products are shipped to markets overseas and domestically, fresh and frozen.
Specialities include whole fish, IQF & vacuum packed fillets and ready-to-eat lake whitefish and lake herring caviar. All products are processed under HACCP principles and both plants are registered under and supervised by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
