FRP has a distinct advantage over PVC and most thermoplastic sheeting since it is much more resistant to extremes of temperatures and the impact of large hailstones. The physical properties of FRP sheeting are substantially retained throughout the working temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to +50 degrees Celsius. The properties of FRP flat and corrugated sheeting make it an ideal material for use in greenhouses where crop yields can be increased by the evenness of the diffused light and the absence of scorching.
