Radom Telecommunication Company (RWT) is a Polish company having been operating in the telecommunication industry for over 67 years now, including activity of its parent company, Radom Telephone Factory. The factory, established by Ericsson in 1938 as its subsidiary in Poland, was involved into manufacturing mostly telephones and other terminal communication equipment for many years and enjoyed the monopoly market share of the Polish telephone market and a significant portion of the Soviet telephone market for tens of years. RWT is currently a private joint stock company with TP INVEST as the biggest RWT shareholder representing TP S. A. The national telecommunication operator in Poland. The other investors in RWT are Ericsson, PWP Mescomp S. A. Warsaw and a number of individual investors, including RWT Management members. Apart from its traditional dealing with production and distribution of analogue/digital and corded/cordless telephones, now RWT is mostly focused on up-to-date telecommunication and IT solutions to provide users with sophisticated multimedia communications means. Included into our product portfolio are PC modems to operate on ISDN digital networks and FCT-CDMA terminals for fixed wireless access to PSTN and Internet. A total of over 25 mln units of multiple telephones and other telecommunication equipment have been successfuly manufactured and distributed by RWT so far. RWT has been achieving significant rate of its business growth, particularly over the last five years, and keeps on expanding both its product and service portfolio and consolidates its leading position among telecommunication industry companies in Poland. With yearly revenues on sale of about USD 18 million on average,2002 was RWT's peak year with its USD 64,5 million sales. RWT is being managed by the experienced team of managers with many years of experience in telecommunications. The company currently employs 170 people, majority of which being engineers and techni-cians high-qualified in telecommunications & information technology. RWT is located in Radom,100 km south of Warsaw, on the transit way between Berlin and Moscow. RWT has got at its disposal appropriate production and storage space and company's facilities house assembly devices, including the modern Philips SMD machinery, test & measuring instruments and information technology equipment required for production of any sort of state-of-the-art telecommunication, IT and electronic equipment. RWT successfully introduced the Quality Management System and has been the ISO 9001certified company since 2003.
