Shanghai Xuhang Knitting Factory is a manufacturer and exporter specializing in all kinds of hand-plaited articles. Our products mainly cover over ten styles of products, including yellow straw bags, knitted bags, willow items, caps and mats with various designs. Among them, the most characteristic products are made of natural material - yellow straw. The yellow straw products are traditional folk handicrafts, with a history of over 400 years in Xuhang Suburb of Shanghai. With the effort of generations, the yellow straw has been cultivated as qualified materials for platting. It possesses the goodness of smoothness, softness, neatness and color of ivory. Yellow straw is planted in large scale in Xuhang and its products are always for export. We have established joint venture since 1992 on the basis of 50-year-old plaiting factory. Meanwhile, we have independent export license. Except yellow straw, we have many other materials, such as sisal, grass, mat grass, corn, willow and bamboo. They can be made into bags, baskets, bales, slippers and hats, all of which are delicate in plaiting, bright in color and beautiful in style.
