In 2006, two long time friends came up with the idea of Celtic Leather and Wood. Throughout their careers (one in the federal government service, and the other in the private corporate world) , they noticed parallels in their successes, leadership and management styles even though they were in vastly different environments. They concluded that if they applied their combined skills to their own company, they could manage the operation based on the principles and high standards of their current careers and thus this would be a benefit to customers. With their diverse experience and interest in their Celtic Heritage, they decided to combine their skill to develop and produce quality leather products and wood home accents with a Celtic theme.
