TAARC International (Pty) Ltd is a South African company that specializes in providing various security related services and coal. The Coal Division has built up relationships with most of the coal mining houses as well as many of the independent coal mines in South Africa and therefore has access to spill-over product from most of them.We have access to mine houses that specialize in cement related product, metallurgical product as well as normal thermal coal.Orders of 100,000 tons or more CANNOT be sourced in South Africa from any single mine as all mines work on narrow margins of error with regards to production planning. The production of such volumes from any single mine can only be done if substantial adjustments are made to the allocation of personnel and resources by the mine in question. Traders must therefore collect "packets" of coal from multiple sources to make up orders of such magnitudes. Our wide exposure to the coal producers gives us this advantage.While the company concentrates on selling to the domestic market, we can facilitate export deals for foreign clients if our terms and conditions can be met. Our terms and conditions include:1. After receiving an enquiry, we can provide a soft price.2. If our soft quote is found to be attractive, TAARC is appointed as full and exclusive mandate holder (for the particular deal).3. Our NCNCA is signed.4. We provide a firm price as well as quality and sizing certificate.5. Once client accepts price and receives certificate(s), client provides funding guarantees and releases first funds to TAARC's bank. Full payment will be due in advance by electronic funds transfer. (No FOB, CIF or other payment terms. No Letter of Credit.)6. After funds have settled in TAARC account, the transporter collects product from producer's site(s).7. Product is transported to port.8. Second analysis of product is done at port & provided to client/buyer.9. Ship arrives (client responsibility) and laycan starts.10. Ship is loaded and leaves.While the RBCT is a closed club, access to slots can be rented but is relatively expensive. This cost is in addition to standard RBI/RB1 prices we could quote. Buyer must therefore have budget allowing listed RBI FOB RBCT plus about 10%.
