The indie guitar co unique concept of supply
To become an indie dealer:
1. you are happy to accept on going free issue stock into your store.
2. you are happy to only pay for free issue stock after it has been sold.
3. you are happy to notify indie and choose replacements for your sold free issue stock as soon as you make a sale.
4. you are happy to purchase a minimum of two quality offer guitars per year.
How it works:
The indie product range is broken down into three main groups:
1. offer guitars
2. free issue guitars
3. amplifiers
Offer guitars
An offer guitar is generally considered to be the highest quality or profile guitar in the indie range. It is a guitar that is sought after, perhaps a collectors item, will receive a high standard review and be promoted by form of advertisement. The purchase of an offer guitar entitles an indie dealer to receive free issue stock.
To become an indie dealer the dealer must agree to purchase a minimum of two offer guitars over a twelve month period; one at the very beginning of the agreement, the second six months after. The agreement then continues indefinitely with the dealer purchasing an offer guitar every six months. If a dealer chooses not to purchase the recommended offer guitar, they must purchase other indie guitars to the equivalent value. Extra offer guitars can be purchased at any time and will be considered as extra orders. Extra offer guitar orders do not affect the required offer guitar purchase every six months.
Free issue stock
Free issue stock is generally accepted as guitars supplied to the dealer without a payable sales invoice.
After the dealer has purchased an offer guitar they are immediately supplied with a minimum of five free issue guitars. The dealers can choose their own free issue stock from the indie free issue range. The dealer can also, at anytime, decide to exchange free issue items, which are not selling, with other guitars from the free issue range.
A dealer must notify indie as soon as they have sold a free issue guitar. The dealer, at that time, will be given a choice to replace the sold guitar either like for like or with a different guitar in the free issue range. Sold free issue guitars can either be replaced during or at the end of the trading month. The dealer will only receive one sales invoice at the end of every trading month as dealers are only invoiced for free issue guitars after they are sold. The invoice is then payable before the 15th day of the month following the sale. If the dealer has sold more than one free issue guitar during the month then they will receive bonus discount as per the guitar of the month scheme. Bonus discount is an agreed percentage discount taken from the trade price of sold and invoiced free issue guitars.
