Company History Upendo Laboratories was founded by Dr. Oetker Welt, Dr. Christian Wietholt , and Mr. Roy Hsu in 1995. Upendo Laboratories emphasized on nature and organic way to bring people health and beauty, developing neutral products which do not contain harmful chemicals and preservative. As a pioneer for the use of botanicals, Upendolabs maintains a leadership position in identifying and incorporating advanced, innovative skincare technologies. In 1997, the company invested in a organic skin care product line specially designed for mum and baby named OrganicLove, now OrganicLove has becoming a major part of its business focus and culture. In 2000, the Company merged with Dr. Alimento, a company specialized in cutting edge ingredients and Nutraceuticals products development. In 2002 the Company aliened with Sage pharmaceutical, initiated an aggressive research and development program on transdermal delivery system, the delivery system is much more efficient and less costly than traditional liposomes.
