All the major inputs that go into manufacturing of Transformers are manufactures by the organization or its Sister Concerns, enabling the organization to have a firm control on the quality of all the Assemblies, Sub-assemblies and Components. Plant-1 (Unit-2) Is a full-fledged manufacturing facility for manufacturing Power Transformers, Cast Resin Transformers, Pad Mounted Transformers / Unitized Sub-stations, Three Phase Medium Capacity Distribution Transformers, Single Phase Transformers, Corrugated tank Transformers and CSP Transformers by using CRGO Silicon Steel. This plant has integrated facilities such as conversion of TOBS into Transformer Oil, indigenous Nitrogen Plant, Powder coating Plant, Shot blasting Plants, Shower painting booths, Highly mechanized Corrugation Tank Line, Robotic Welding, Foil winding facilities etc. other than the usual manufacturing and testing facilities. Plant-2 (Unit-3) Is a state-of-the-art Plant for manufacturing of Highly Energy Efficient Low Loss Amorphous Metal Distribution Transformers. This plant has a huge manufacturing capacity with PLC based machines for operations, such as Winding, Core Forming, Cutting etc. Presently, this stands as one of the Best Manufacturing facilities in the world for Amorphous Metal Distribution Transformers. Plant-3 (Unit-4) Is yet again a state-of-the-art facility for Conductor Manufacturing, All types of Conductors are made in this Plant ranging from Enameled Copper Conductor to Super Enameled Copper Conductors (Rectangular and Round) . Continuously Transposed Conductors are also made here. Various types of conductors are manufactured here such as Double Paper Covered, Multi Paper Covered, Enameled and Fiber Glass Covered conductors etc, to exact design requirements for Transformer Windings. This Unit also houses the facility for making Diamond Dotted Craft Paper.
