Our company started it's forestry activities in Costa Rica. Grupo Eco Directa and Aserradero WTI de Arenal together are our main companies peforming the seed to semi-final product process. In total our company own 6. 100 Ha of forest in the Northern area of Costa Rica of which 3. 300 Ha is planted with commercial species (Mangium and Teak) . The oldest teak plantations date from 1991 and the oldest Acacia Mangium date from 2002. In the comming 5 years we expect to process a volume of 50. 000 m3 Teak and 140. 000 m3 Acacia Mangium.
