Zhejiang Hangcha Engineering Machine Co., Ltd. (Hangzhou Lift Fork Co., Ltd, and Hangzhou Lift Fork Plant), a key state-appointed manufacturer of lift fork, employs 800 workers and staff, covers an area of about 100000 square meters, including floor area 60000 square meters, and reaches an annual capacity of 25000 sets. Its 3-t series lift fork is the merely one which won silver medal in Chinese lift fork industry and met the standards for first class product in the random inspection by the State Technical Supervision Bureau in the first quarter of 1997. In 1995 it was first qualified in certification of ISO 9001 quality management system in lift fork industry and in 2002 in the certification of ISO14001 environmental management system. Its products keep the domestic advanced level and several products reach international advanced level. In 2001 it ranked in one of 30 top key competitive enterprises in Chinese machine industry and the first in the lift fork field. It was evaluated as civilized unit in Chinese machine industry, as star competitive enterprises of Chinese machine industry in 2001, won national "5.1" Labor Prize in 2003, and was assessed as one of 100 top key competitive enterprises in Chinese machine industry of 2002. It is equipped with world first class NC machining center, NC laser cutter, NC flame cutter, NC sheet machining center, NC bender and integral inspection device imported from USA, Japan, Italy and Sweden. It establishes advanced assembly line, painting line, perfect part and integral test desk, test site, and has a qualified staff team including hundreds of technicians and skilled workers. It adopts CAD and CAM in product development and manufacture and conducts quality management system in accordance with ISO9001 series standards, providing sound foundation for producing first class domestic lift forks. For meeting clients' requirements, it ceaselessly upgrades, improves and innovates its products and now forms all-series diversified product structures including 1-10t inner combustion lift forks, 1-3t battery-powered lift forks, container-purpose lift forks, explosion-proof battery-powered lift forks, liquefied gas lift forks, forwards-moving lift forks and battery-powered pallet stackers and also manufactures ZL15 loader and 2-4.5t tractors. In order to meet clients' requirements and provide them good serves, it establishes a complete set of sales systems and after-sales service network, sets 20 branches in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shengzhen, Beijing, Tianjin and Chongqing, and 80 authorized sales networks, which provide clients all-over services, including supply of integral unit and fittings, guaranteed services, client training and maintenance. It sets up an import and export division responsible for import and export business. Now its lift forks are mainly exported to Europe, Asia, America and Pacific and its export volume was doubled in successive years.
