I-sft is part of a group of international companies whose focal point is the research and development of tft-displays combined with key innovative light technology. I-sft has recently seen success stories in the banking industry, the transport industry, heavy machinery, marine applications, field computers and other military applications. In order to enhance development in the avionic sector, i-sft has acquired a u. K. Based sister company whose sole aim is to advise OEM based manufacturers on avionic displays. Perhaps the most exciting development supporting the i-sft technology is the lighting where another wammes owned company plays a major role together with a dutch owned company. Other members of the i-sft support cast come from Australia, Taiwan and the u. S. A. The displays i-sft develops today are widely known for their extreme brightness. The brightness is achieved using relatively low power consumption, contributing to reduced costs of ownership. I-sft displays are also renowned for their ruggedness, high contrast ratios, long life expectancy and extended temperature ranges. Although enhancing standard displays seems to be part-and-parcel of todays TFT Technology, i-sft differentiates itself from others by customizing all of its integral components. Every single display module is ultimately matched to these parts, resulting in high compatibility and efficiency. I-sft has recently increased its number of serial displays which incidentally can be altered to suit the demands of the customer requirements. One such display can boast of existing on the market for 10 years; the 10,5 inch vga module, built in 1995 under the leadership of wammes & partner, is an integral part of the high speed trains in Germany and still a bread-winner for the company today. There are four versions in all; three with a different brightness and a fourth ruggedized version which in its specifications has yet to be surpassed anywhere in the world. I-sft has increased its efforts in solving customized, semi-custom and other display solutions for the global markets, calling on project work where far more flexibility and intensified cooperation with the client is necessary. Successful developments have been made on modules right up to the largest sizes.
