TE.SA.M PERU S.A. is a company that operates public mobile satellite services that counts with a concession granted by the Peruvian State to operate and to provide services with the networks of the different systems: Globalstar, Iridium and Inmarsat.The company has realized a local investment of more than 30 million dollars in the installation of the unique earth station (Gateway) located in Peru working with a LEO satellite constellation. The Gateway of TE.SA.M is located at 35 km south of Lima and gives services to the territories of Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia as well as the territorial seas of Peru and Ecuador.The company begun its commercial operations in Peru on July 2000 and since that date has constituted in the main supplier of satellite services in areas without coverage or conventional communication for applications of voice and data with movable and transportable satellite systems.
