DESCRIPTION

STS5900Silicone Sealant is a neutral curing silicone sealant with high modulus and high strength, purposely designed for glazing insulating glass. It has the advantage of low air permeability.STS5900Silicone Sealantworks with two-component mixing equipment and the two components react quickly after mingled in scale, then cures to elastomer.

CHARACTERISTICS

A.STS5900belongs to RTV-2. It’s curing speed can be adjustable, and the deep-seated curing speed is fast, and it is suitable to be used in the factory;

B. Neutral curing, non-corrosive to metal, coated glass etc.

C. High modulus and high strength;

D. Release low-molecular-weight alcohol and no unpleasant odor during cure;

E. Excellent resistance to weather, UV, ozone, water;

F. Remains flexible over a wide range of temperature;

G. Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.

APPLICATIONS

As a secondary edge adhesive sealant in insulating glass units.

PACKAGEING

STS5900 Silicone Sealant is available as a “kit” consisting of a 47.6 US gallon drum of Base and a 5 US gallon pail of curing agent (catalyst). Both the drum and pail are straightsided for use in commercially available pumping equipment.

Base: STARSEALANTSTS5900 Base is available in a 52 US gallon drum (containing 47.6 US gallons(180L)) with a polyethylene bag liner.

Catalyst: STARSEALANTSTS5900 Curing Agent is available in a 5.3 US gallon pail (containing 5.0 US gallons(19L)).
