DESCRIPTION

STS580Weatherproof Silicone Sealant is a one-component, medium modulus neutral cure sealant & adhesive for use in weatherproofing, glazing and on a wide variety of building materials in new and retrofit applications.

CHARACTERISTICS

100% silicone, no sag;

RTV-1. Good extrusion and thixotropyduring the temperature of 4℃~+40℃. Easy to use;

Neutral curing, non-corrosive to metal, coated glass etc.;

Excellent weatherability and high resistance to ultraviolet radiation, heat and humidity, ozone and temperature extremes;

Remains flexible over a temperature range of -58°F (-50°C) to 302°F (150°C)

Excellent adhesion to most substrates including coated, enameled and reflective glass, anodized and polyester coated or painted aluminum profiles.

Can adhere to most building materials without primer

Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants;

Movement capability up to ±50%

Weather sealing in glass curtain wall joints;

Weatherproof sealing in metal, enamel curtain wall joints;

Sealing in expansion joints for concrete, plastic and metal etc.;
