Ribbon Mixer

Ribbon Mixer consists of a U-shaped horizontal trough, drive unit and a specially fabricated ribbon agitator. A ribbon agitator consists of a set of inner and outer helical blades. In the direction of rotation, the outer ribbon pushes materials from two ends to the center of the trough, while the inner ribbon moves materials toward the two sides of the trough. The ribbon also rotates at approx. 30-40 rpm, thus moving materials both radially and laterally to insure thorough mixing in short cycle times.
