Promotion of HOSFAIR in Malaysia

Malaysia is an emerging country with diversified economy. The economy advanced by leaps and bounds in the 1990s and became one of the Tiger Cub Economies. Now it has become the remarkable emerging industrial country and the world’s emerging market economies in Asia. Malaysia is a picturesque country, of which tourism is the third source offoreign currency earnings

China and Malaysia are neighborhoods, facing each other across the sea. Both of them had rapid development since they established diplomatic relations 25 years ago. Under the background of The Belt and Road Initiative, China and Malaysia will strengthen their cooperation in business trade, investment, transportation, harbor construction and so on, so as to make their cultural communication closer.

The favorable development of trade cooperation between China and Malaysia creates the advantageous prerequisite for the cooperation of their enterprises. Guangzhou International Hospitality Supplies Fair (hereinafter referred to as HOSFAIR) are dedicated to get through the trade barriers between both parties and construct an efficient cooperation platform. In order to respond to the trade demand between China and Malaysia and strengthen the interaction and cooperation with Malaysian hotel furniture market, International Department of Guangdong Xinji Huazhan Exhibition Co., Ltd. went to Malaysia and participate in Export Furniture Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as EFE) to propagandize HOSFAIR. They distributed invitation and tickets on scene, and made conversation with exhibitors and buyers who were interested in it.

EFE is one of the most important furniture shows that has highest comprehensive degree and largest scale. Covering an area of more than 30,000 sq.m., EFE had been held for 4days, where over 30 enterprises participated. It comprehensively showed the current factors and the latest trend and design of the furniture industry. It was a middle-large size exhibition that was rather relevant with HOSFAIR.

In the meantime, Manager of International Department paid a visit to some chambers and associations, such as Malaysian Furniture Council, Penang Furniture Industry Association and Muar Furniture Industry Chamber etc. He expressed the will of the cooperation between HOSFAIR and Malaysian furniture industry by organizing exhibitors and visitors. While Malaysian chambers and associations, like Malaysian Furniture Council also indicated that they wished to cooperate with HOSFAIR so as to promote the development of the enterprises in both countries.

The purpose of this business trip to EFE was more than to know more about the latest trend of hotel and hotel supplies industry in Southeast Asia, further enlarge the influence of HOSFAIR and make it well-known in the international market. What’s more, it also aimed to learn the advanced experience in exhibiting and draw on each other’s strength. They expressed that they learned a lot from this trip and wished to make flexible use of this experience into HOSFAIR.
