Dibutyl Sebacate

Besides sebacic acid, we also can produce dibutyl sebacate. Dibutyl sebacate is colorless transparent oily liquid without smell. Its melting point is 205°C. The boiling point is 344-345°C, and freezing point of -10°C. It can be soluble in ethanol, ether and acetone, but insoluble in water.
