40mm expanded grating is always cut to pieces to be used as stair treads for aluminum walk platforms, it can more weight than 30mm expanded grating, which applied to work platforms or walkways requiring larger load bearing. Generally expanded metals don’t need any surface treatment, as it is born to be shining and aluminum has a long working life. 500mm width and 250mm width are both available for 40mm expanded grating.

Aluminum disks are commonly used for installation of 40mm expanded walkway when applied for roof safety and flooring, and welding could be used when applied for expanded metal grating
